An assortment of different prepared vegetables with meat (beef or chicken) or tofu surrounding a mound of steamed white rice in a stone bowl, heated until the rice begins to crisp. Topped with an egg and sprinkled with sesame seeds and seaweed shreds. Served with gochujang (Korean chili paste) and banchan.
Vegetables may include any of: Korean radish, cabbage, carrot, zucchini, beansprouts, sweet potato stems, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, bellflower root, fern sprouts, based on availability.
